| The Codan 9350 antenna can tune down to the 160m amateur band with the aid of adding a small extension to the antenna. There is a catch - you may lose one or two of the upper bands. Simply remove the extension to get them back! | ||

| The extension was covered with heatshrink tubing. Hot melt glue was used either end. When both were heated, the heatshrink would reshape the softened glue to form a tight weatherproof seal. |
